Quest for Excellence provided both customer service seminars for the team at de Winter and, following these, provided leadership coaching and Board support. Martin Lee became de facto Chairman of de Winter for two years, overseeing a complete change of culture and ownership. Prior to our engagement, Hems De Winter, after 20 years in the business had lost much of his enthusiasm for the industry and was looking to sell his business. During our engagement, de Winter celebrated 21 years in business by winning the CIPD PR Agency of the Year as well as winning the North West’s Young Marketing/Media Professional of the Year. The business was successfully sold the following year.
‘‘Martin has been a real asset, chairing our Board Meetings; we've benefited enormously from his insight and business experience. He's guided the development of our business plans, helped us create a new structure for the business and supported team development.
He has been as inspirational as he has been challenging ... he’s had an enormous impact on our strategic approach and commercial well-being. The value he's been able to add to our service standards from his relationship with the Disney Institute has been the icing on the cake!”
Hems de Winter, Owner & CEO
Martin's approach and strategic focus as our Non Exec Director has added real value to the business. He productively challenges the board to help steer the team and ensures there is always a clarity of direction.
